Brazilian MLD Facial Massage

Brazilian MLD Facial Massage

A Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Facial Massage serves to drain build up of lymphatic fluid in the face. The gentle, light massage treatment enhances circulation in your face by delivering oxygen around the skin pushing waste and toxins to the lymph nodes. The application of light, directed pressure serves to clear the excess fluid.

Lymphatic detox stimulates the lymphatic systems, thus supporting faster elimination of toxins and fluids whilst reducing swelling in the body tissues.

The massage technique stimulates rapid movements of stagnant liquids from these tissues and promotes their flow towards the lymphatic junctions so that they can be carried easily to the kidneys for faster removal. The lymphatic also supports the transport of the body fluids and toxins to the kidneys and other excretory organs so that they can be expelled from the body in an efficient manner.

The lymphatic detox combines massage therapy with modelling. it works on the fatty deposits by mobilising adipocytes toward the deeper areas in a controlled manner. This type of drainage process will aid clients to get rid of the excess fats in those parts of the body where other cosmetic treatments are not effective.

The Treatment

Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage is a type of massage focusing on stimulating the natural drainage of the lymph nodes, in order to eliminate waste and toxins from the body. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a slow rhythmic 'pumping' manual technique intended to stimulate and mobilise stagnant lymph through tiny ‘one-way’ valves for the removal of waste from the tissue.

Treatments are usually carried out after a cleanse, double cleanse and exfoliation and are traditionally performed using a plain carrier facial oil. A serum and light moisturiser is applied to finish.
