Ice Globe Facial
Ice Globe Facial
The Ice Globe Facial Massage is a skincare practice that draws from both ancient traditions and more recent wellbeing trends.
Ice globes can also be known as cryo globes, they are borosilicate glass globes filled with a non-freezing liquid which can be used straight from the fridge or freezer. They are often rolled along the jawline, underneath the cheeks and under the eyes. They are good for holding over cystic breakouts to reduce inflammation from the cool temperature. The globes are a tool to enhance both in salon and home treatments by improving long term skin quality with regular use.
The freezing temperatures cause vasoconstriction followed by vasodilation encouraging microcirculation to increase in the treated areas. It has been referred to as ‘vascular gymnastics for the skin’ as regular use will increase cellular turnover, encouraging new cells to come to the skins surface, enhancing and improving the skins cellular quality.
The Treatment
The Ice Globe Facial Massage is a luxurious and rejuvenating skincare treatment that offers a dual-action approach to enhance the skin’s health and appearance. The treatments includes applying chilled ice globes to the face, which helps to reduce inflammation, soothe irritation, and provide a refreshing sensation. The rolling motion of the ice globes across the skin promotes lymphatic drainage and can leave the complexion looking brighter and less puffy.
A jade stone roller is then incorporated into the treatment. The jade stone roller is used to gently massage the face, stimulating blood circulation and potentially improving the absorption of skincare products. This technique can also aid in reducing tension in facial muscles and promoting a relaxed, radiant complexion.
The treatment includes a cleanse, exfoliate, mask, ice globe and jade roller treatment along with a facial massage using the palms and fingers too.

- Avoid any headache tablets as these too contain caffeine
- Avoid eating a heavy meal. Eat a light and natural diet, as refined and processed foods add to the toxicity levels within the body and hinder the natural healing process
