Kansa Wand Body Massage

Kansa Wand Body Massage

Kansa wands are a holistic tool derived from Ayurveda - an ancient medicinal practice in India for over 5,000 years. It is a massage tool for both the face and body.

The wands are made of Kansa metal, a blend of copper and tin with trace elements. In Ayurveda, this metal is believed to have balancing effects on the body’s doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) promoting overall health and unblocks the seven charkras, or ‘energies’, within your body with increases vitality and releases stress.

It has magical healing properties and helps with insomnia, anxiety, detoxifying and promoting collagen. The massage tool’s healing metal surface shines golden due to its extreme purity. Because of the metal’s alkaline properties, placing it on the skin will help to balance the skin’s pH levels.

The Treatment

The treatment begins with an ayurvedic foot soak before the feet are dried and you make yourself comfortable on the therapy couch. Once comfortable, a cleanse and re-balance of the chakra system is performed. Then, a massage of the marma points is undertaken before being followed by a massage using the kansa wands.
